💜 Our Founder Story - Why We Created Dachy-Doo™
When we launched the Oodle-Doo™ Burrow Bed, our goal was simple — create a calming, sensory-safe sanctuary for anxious dogs.
The response exceeded anything we imagined.
As a growing start-up, seeing hundreds of dog parents welcome our burrow design into their homes has been incredibly rewarding. The soothing colour tones, structured comfort, and sensory-led design quickly built a loyal and fast-growing community.
But something stood out to us in particular…
An overwhelming number of purchases came from Dachshund families.
And the feedback was incredible.
Dachshund parents told us their little sausages were burrowing deeper, settling faster, and sleeping longer. Many shared how their Dachy had finally found a space that felt safe.
But we also kept hearing one consistent concern:
Their backs.
Dachshunds are beautifully unique — long-bodied, short-legged, and genetically prone to spinal sensitivity. While the Oodle-Doo Burrow Bed was delivering calm, we knew we could engineer something even better for this breed.
